After much speculation, we can confirm at the time of writing there is no Motorsport to take place at Bradford in 2026, YorStox Management would like to thank everyone for their patience in awaiting the fixture list. But….the show must go on!

It's the one everyone has been waiting for, YorStox are proud to present the 2026 BriSCA F1 Stock Car Championship of the World at the spiritual home of the sport - Northampton Shaleway - as part of a three day event at the Brafield venue.

The last weekend in September is a must-see for race fans, as we take the World Final baton with plenty of plans in the pipeline already. Our thanks go to Spedeworth Motorsports for their support - we will be working together to make this festival of Stock Car racing one which will be remembered for years to come!

So often the highlight of the weekend, Friday 25th September sees the international BriSCA F1 drivers take to the track, getting that all-important track time. Those who were at Northampton's Friday night session back in 2023 know that there is something quite special about drivers from across the world taking to the Shaleway. Support comes from the retro racers for a high speed history lesson - with the Classic F1 Stock Cars rolling back the years in their first ever appearance at the venue.

Saturday 26th September sees the 2026 BriSCA F1 Stock Car Championship of the World, the biggest race of the season for the Big League. After all of the World Qualifying Rounds, two Semi Finals and plenty of blood, sweat and tears - it all comes down to these 25 laps to crown the sport's number 1. Can Tom Harris defend his title, or will it be someone else taking away this prestigious title. The Classic F1 Stock Cars once again support.

Sunday 27th September sees the BriSCA F1 Stock Cars Internations Cup, with plans in place to make this a must-see part of the weekend. Support from the BriSCA F2 and V8 Hotstox - with limited race bookings available - to round off this non-stop weekend of bumper action.

This is due to unforeseen circumstances.

Refunds will be issued automatically via FIXr to the card used to make your event booking. If we have any issues we will contact you directly via email.

YorStox have an exciting month ahead with plenty of great racing to look forward to which kicks off with the 2025 V8 Hotstox World Final at Bradford on Saturday 20th September.

On Sunday 28th September BriSCA F1 make a return to the Eddie Wright Raceway at a 1pm start time alongside BriSCA F2 Stock Cars.

Please note that this event will be Advanced Ticket Only to avoid any disappointment on the day with only a limited capacity.

Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday 10th September at 9am and simply EVERYONE needs a ticket. This includes children under 10 and people travelling with drivers. Only the driver and their complimentary tickets do not need to get tickets in advance.

Concession - £20

Child (10-15) - £12

Child (9 and Under) – FREE

Please note there are no family tickets available at this event as it causes challenges with calculating the capacity.

BriSCA F2 Stock Cars have been REMOVED from Bradford on Saturday 20th September and replaced at Scunthorpe on Sunday 28th September.

We would like to clarify that cars must be built to ORCi 2025 Specifications. Please ensure your car meets this, if there are any discrepencies you will be asked to rectify your car and until this is done you will not race.

YorStox regret to announce that Sheffield on Saturday 2nd November has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.

There has been an alteration of formulas therefore appearing at Bradford on Saturday 2nd November. This event now features BriSCA F2, 1600cc Bangers, Lady Bangers, Reliant Robins AND and HUGE Firework Display.

YorStox apologises to Heritage F2 and V8 Hotstox who no longer are appearing.

Important Reminder - Tyres

This is a reminder that your tyres MUST be to the ORCi rule book, there are no exceptions on this please do not turn up with the wrong tyres on.

A reminder also that harness chains can not be doubled over to race. They must be 8mm minimum.

On the Vauxhall astra or zafira if you are running a flat plate bumper (3mm x 100mm) you can not cap the end of the chassis rails. It must only be flat plate or original bumper only

Track Walk -British Championship Night!

Ever Fancied walking the track at odsal stadium?

This Saturday is your chance…from 2pm the track will be open to the public to have a walk on and get some photos. Entrance to the track is down the stairs from the grandstand.

Exit from the track will be through the pit gate and the South Stand will be open for you to have a look in. Ever fancied what it’s like in these facilities and interested in an upgrade at this or a future meeting, now’s your chance to check it out.

Inside the South Stand there will be a selection of Ex British Champions ready for a signing session and photos.

Entrance to the track will cease at 2:45pm and patrons will be asked to be off the track and clear of the South Stand (unless you purchase an upgrade) by 3pm.

Grand Parade of drivers will then take place at 3:15pm.

This is an opportunity not to miss!

Roofplates and floor plates are compulsory,only the original steel bumper or a flat plate bumper can be used (3mmx100mm) with a maximum of 2 bolts securing it either side. Crush tubes can be used but can NOT interlock and must fall free when the bonnet is removed. Please check the current tyre rules for national bangers.

New Car Parking

YorStox would like to announce we have struck a deal with Bradford Council for us to take on the lease of the Richard Dunn’s Facility on YorStox event days for the use of car parking.

This now means that YorStox are able to control the facility internally which is great news for everyone.

We would like to be clear that this does still come at a great cost to YorStox and there will be a £5 charge per car to park a car. This however is a reduction on the £7 charge in 2023!

Therefore going forward ALL car parking excluding disabled parking is now across at the Richard Dunn’s Centre. Please do not head for the stadium car park by the drivers entrance this is now only for disabled use at £5 a car.

YorStox would like to thank Bradford Council for their work in helping us get this over the line for this weekend’s event.

Please note there is strictly NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING on this car park. Any breach of this rule risks any future use of the facility.

Car park opening time will be updated tomorrow with all timings...but yes the Richard Dunn’s will be open!

MICRO F2 - EARLY START!

With now a staggering 28 Micro F2 booked for Bradford on Saturday 20th April these young guns will now take part in 3 races pre meeting from 4pm. The fourth race will be within the main event.

BriSCA F1 Kick off from 5pm with the Whites and Yellows Race with currently 22 drivers eligalbe to take part in that race it will certainly be a busy one!

National Banger Rules of Racing Update in Effect Immediately

The ORC have updated the National Banger Rules of Racing and the following comes into immediate effect.

Any deliberate hits between the wheels on either side of the car are outlawed.

Anyone who in the opinion of the meeting steward is guilty of this will face a minimum of a three month ban with no element of the ban allowed to be suspended.

Any driver who in the opinion of the steward does this illegal move at high speed will face a much larger ban.

Hits over the wheels are still allowed.

1st of April has been rescheduled

We are pleased to announce a rescheduled date for Owlerton Stadium, Sheffield has been secured for BriSCA F1. This will take place on Monday 8th July, 7pm start.

YorStox would like to thank both the BSCDA and the Sheffield Stadium Management for their assistance in securing this date and we look forward to throwing back the years with some Monday night Sheffield racing!

The wait is finally over…the 2024 season is now upon us and it is the third season of YorStox, we don’t know where the time has gone! It doesn’t get much better than this for a season opener, a great mix of Stockcar and Banger Racing on a Saturday night in Bradford!

The 1600cc Bangers are a main focal point of the 2024 YorStox calendar following discussions with drivers over the closed season a revitalised Points Qualification Series has been designed to recognise both race points and entertainer points. The top point scorers will secure a place on one of the biggest races of the year, the 1600cc Banger World Final at Ipswich in November. At the time of writing over 40 1600cc Bangers have booked to race which is a great increase on number in 2023.

Next on the Banger agenda we have the Unlimited Bangers racing in the Old Skool Rules. This is National Banger build rules but nudge and spin racing meaning that drivers can get a whole lot more racing out of the car. This has in the past attracted some rather different and special machines and photos coming out of garages on the lead up to this event are not different with some very smartly turned out cars.

Add to that we have the Lady Bangers who in 2023 did put on a great showing, they often don’t hold back with the action! Finally, the Stockcar entertainment comes from the BriSCA F2 who always come in great numbers to Bradford.

Odsal Stadium is classified as an elite stadium, this does mean there is certain protocol that must be followed which is out of the hands of YorStox. Please note:

No Glass Bottles
No Pressurised container cans
No Alcohol to be brought in
Small amount of food is permitted

If for any reason you encounter issues on the day we ask you please to approach a member of the YorStox team, they will be wearing a yellow Hi Vis with YorStox and STAFF on the back to raise a concern so that we can deal with this on the day.

Advanced tickets are available by visiting https://www.yorstox.co.uk/Tickets Once a ticket is purchased via the site, you will recieve a QR Code to the email address provided (please check your junk mail). This code will grant you access to the stadium on race day. If you are arriving separately, you can 'transfer' tickets via the FIXr website to split down your booking, without this you must arrive together. QR codes will only be valid once so please do not try to forward this on.

General admission tickets will be available to purchase on race day from the turnstiles entrances, we have a large stadium capacity and we will not sell out on the day. Cash and Card payments taken. Programmes will also be available from the turnstile entrances.

The stadium boasts great viewing from all areas, including a 4000 covered seated grandstand (no extra charge). Please note you cannot reserve grandstand seats prior to the event. Food and drink outlets are available including licenced bars all around the circuit as well as trade stands which are located on the turnstile bend where you enter the stadium.

Toilets are available all around the raceway including disabled access and baby changing facilities.

Disabled parking is available around the back of the stadium along from the Q Gardens pub, please note spaces are limited and these cannot be reserved. Parking is £5 a car.

There is no general access to the pit area for Health and Safety reasons once racing begins

Strictly NO Alcohol or Glass is to be brought into the stadium.

No dogs are permitted into the stadium.

Event Postponed! 1st April

SHEFFIELD 1st APRIL -– EVENT POSTPONED

Following a recent batch of wet weather and after consultation with Sheffield Stadium Management, YorStox have made the unfortunate early decision to cancel Sheffield’s planned event on Monday 1 ^st April. YorStox and the Stadium team do not believe we will be able to get the track to a good raceable level in order to enjoy an afternoon of racing. We are just as disappointed in making this decision as we are sure many race fans are, however we do not want to race at a track that is not quite ready.

YorStox are working with the Stadium Management on a rearranged date and we hope to confirm this within the next 7 days. However, we can advise that the BriSCA F1 World Qualifier will now be held on Monday 6 ^th May 2024 at Sheffield.

National Banger (Unlimited) – 2024 Qualification Series

The below dates are Qualification Rounds for the 2024 National Banger Points which will see the overall winner seeded to the 2024 Unlimited Banger World Final at Ipswich in October.

If YorStox are offered any seeded places for other Championship Events, then offers of places will be made based on the current standing at the time of invitation.

This is a Two Part Series with the points from Part A and Part B added together to decide the overall winner.

Part A

Saturday 30th March – Unlimited Old Skool
Saturday 4th May – Unlimited Old Skool
Saturday 13th July – Unlimited Old Skool

Points Scoring – Part A

10 Attendance Points will be given to all drivers who book in and turn up to race. Drivers who turn up without booking will receive 10 Attendance Points.

Each Race will also carry Entertainer Points of 15 Points.
An additional 20 Entertainer Points will be given to the driver who is voted by the public as the Most Entertaining Driver on the day as a part of a public vote.

Notes

* For both Part A and Part B drivers who fail to show and have not cancelled their booking will be deducted 10 Points from their total.

* For Part B race and entertainer points will be combined in one points chart.

Point Scoring

Race Points will be scored as below

Heats 10-1
Final Points 20-2

Entertainer Points will be scored as below

Each Race has 20 Entertainer Points available which can be awarded to one driver or split across multiple.
An extra 20 Entertainer Points will be available for the overall meeting entertainer decided by a public vote following the meeting.

Points Charts

Any Seeded Event will be offered in order by the top point scorer of the race and entertainer points.

Points charts will run separate for both Race Points and Entertainer Points

Point Deduction

Points will be deducted on drivers who book and fail to cancel their booking and do not attend a meeting. 10 points will be deducted on whichever points chart the driver is highest on.

Reece and the team are blown away with the support, who would have thought that a bunch of lads from Kirby made a little team all them years ago and it would be become the longest running team in the sport. Then getting the support they have for this event 55 years later, the team are ever so greatful to everyone.

Driver Bookings are currently full, if you are booked and can no longer attend please contact Reece as there is a healthy reserve list ready to take your place.
